Reserving your vacation rental six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
- Summertime is high season in the Isle of Palms area. Reserve your Isle of Palms rental in Fall or Spring months to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
- Some hosts and property managers offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group.
- Property managers usually offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
- Find a copy of your local Isle of Palms visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great articles, visitor guides have coupons for nearby tours and attractions.
