The second floor features the sizable Master Bedroom with King Bed, Intelligent TV, sitting area, and private bath! The private bath has a walk-in shower, double vanity, and a soaking tub for relaxation. Down the hallway you will find the 3 other bedrooms, full hall bath, and washer & dryer. How to get the best rental home experience:
Getting the best rental value:
- Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- To book the best rental home within budget, we recommend reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular attractions.
- Some hosts and property managers offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
- Property management companies often offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
- Find a copy of your local visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, travel guides contain money saving offers on nearby tours and attractions.
Selecting and booking a perfectrental home:
- Select a group lead, select your dates, and select a spending budget.
- Determine how many beds and the configuration your family needs. Spacious, Family Beach Home! Ping Pong, Pet Friendly, Close to Beach & Marina! has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is almost always available online. If not, call the property manager before reserving the vacation property. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
- Traveling with pets? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional fees or might be applied to your agreement.
- If there's a specific Isle of Palms attraction you are crazy about, look for properties that are either near by, or those that cater to your requirements.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
During your stay:
- Be sure you get the property manager's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental home. We recommend storing the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Hosts are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property while you are away, just like you would back home.
- Record any damages to the property during check in, and immediately e-mail them to the host. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are valuable if a dispute is filed.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often a great resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Double-check the property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Walk through the property a final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- Did you have a excellent time? Most rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or host was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
