With 4 BR/4 BR The Laurel House sleeps 10 Guests and offers an idyllic backdrop for an island escape. Savor coffee overlooking the live oaks in the morning and savor a dip in your private pool before collecting sea shells on the beach.

Only 5 mins. from the oceanside Wild Dunes Links and 12 mins. from the excitement downtown Charleston has to offer, the Laurel House provides an amazing mix of luxury, location, and luxury.

NOTE: The Laurel House is a FAMILY FRIENDLY House and events and/or events are stringently prohibited. Every property in our portfolio is designed to host only vacation guests, and guests of Luxury Simplified Retreats are expected to abide by the rules and NOISE ORDINANCE enforced by the City of Isle of Palms. Those that violate the terms of occupancy, host events, and/or events will result in immediate loss of use. The Laurel House does not allow family pets. No exceptions. The Laurel House is a NO SMOKING property. No exceptions.

Access
Your Concierge will meet you at the home upon your arrival to check you in. Should our schedules not line up, your Concierge will walk you through how to get into the property. If you have any questions about directions or access to the property, your concierge will be ready and waiting to assist you by phone. There is room for five (5) cars at the home.

Interaction
Upon arrival, after the established 4PM check-in time, you may enter and exit the rental at your leisure. Your Concierge will meet you at the property upon check-in and provide valuable information about the home. Should an in-person meeting not work out, your Concierge will provide you with all the instructions you will need. We are here to make the check-in process a seamless one!

Our concierge team is committed to delivering exceptional service, impeccable cleanliness and all the amenities of your everyday home. With each stay you will appreciate high thread count linens, spa quality towels, hair dryer, ironing board, washer and dryer, standard coffee maker and Keurig, kitchen cookware and silverware, shower toiletries and soaps, additional linens and towels, air conditioning, cable, and wireless internet, and more. With our concierge services you can choose to have our team handle all the details of your trip. From stocking your refrigerator to reserving beach equipment, there isn't much our Concierge team can't help you with during your stay. And should you need any recommendations, it would be our enjoyment to provide suggestions for eateries, make reservations, organize activities, and answer any questions.

We offer the option to purchase trip insurance through Rental Guardian. We highly recommend adding trip insurance to your reservation, especially if you are traveling during hurricane season (June-November).

At the time of booking, we require a payment of 50% of your total rental amount. The remainder of your balance will be due 30 days prior to your check-in date and will be automatically charged to the card we have on file. If you are booking within 30 days of your expected arrival date, the full payment is due at the time of booking.

The City of Isle of Palms has a noise ordinance starting at 10PM that applies to private residences. Please be mindful of your neighbors. Noise complaints can result in fines and rental termination.

Minimum rental age is 25.

Getting the most from your spending budget:

  • Summer is the most expensive season along the coast of SC. To get the best rental home for your budget, we highly recommend booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular Isle of Palms attractions. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Hosts sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your group.
  • Booking websites often offer renters an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.

  • Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors can be an excellent source for finding the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Keep the property locked while you are away! Don't let burglars spoil your holiday.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected everything. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental a final time and scan for damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever possible. If the host is not available, take photos and video of the property to record its condition.
  • Did you have a great stay? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property management company was terrific, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was imperfect and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
