28 Sand Dollar is a modern getaway located on impressive Isle of Palms, South Carolina. Tucked away on a peaceful cul-de-sac this home has every detail you could want for a calming vacation. The interior was completely refreshed in 2022.

Taking a look inside this home you will find a mix of coastal and modern with tons of natural light, high ceilings, comfortable furnishings, and opulent bedrooms. The open floorplan flows from the living room to the entirely outfitted kitchen. Savor the outdoors on the wrap around style porch surrounded by huge Oak Trees. Ample space for morning coffee or appreciating family dinner under the trees. There is also a firepit in the backyard and freshly added propane BBQ grille.

The primary bedroom on the main level has a king bed and ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower. Heading upstairs there are three more bedrooms, one with a king bed and ensuite bathroom, one with two twin beds, and another with a queen bed. Additional sleeping available with sleeper couch on main level. Half Bath and an outdoor shower in garage for painless clean up after a day at the beach.

Take a walk to the beach, about a 8 min. walk or rent bicycles using the VayK Life credit included. Appreciate exploring the scenery and wildlife the low-country has to offer. The Isle of Palms Marina is close by with waterfront dining, ecotours, fishing, and tons of great vistas to appreciate with the whole family.

Sticking to a budget:

  • Summer is the most expensive season along the coast of SC. Booking your vacation rental in the Spring or Fall is an excellent way to save on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes.
  • In the Isle of Palms area, The sooner your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are booked very early. Booking your rental six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental.

  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer renters an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Tips to have a terrific stay:

  • Take a copy of the property manager's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental property. Put the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.

  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable visitors disrupting your peace and quiet. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would have never otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Keep the property locked while you are gone! Don't let burglars ruin your family vacation.
  • Just prior to departing, take a final walk-through to confirm you did not leave anything behind. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the rental one final time and look for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, take photos and video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property owners rely on great reviews to compel new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback.
